Protect / Lock your saved password in Mozilla FireFox

We save our User Name and Password to our internet browser. Now a days the number one internet browser is Mozilla Firefox. We can save our password in Mozilla Firefox too. But in shared computer it is risky. So I’m going to tell you how you can lock your saved password with a master password. To do this you need to follow some steps-

Open Mozilla Firefox > Tools > Option > Click Security Tab > Check a Tick in Use a master password > You will see a new window ‘Change master password’ > Type your password there > Click Ok > When msgbox ‘Password change succeed’ will show Click Ok > Click Ok > Finish.

Open Program by pressing shortcut key, Open Program Quickly

Hello everybody, now I’m going to share a nice tips with you. Now you can run your program quickly by pressing Shortcut Key. Just follow these-

Right Click on a Desktop / Start Menu Shortcut > Click Properties > Left Click on the Shortcut key’s field > Press any key from keyboard to set shortcut > Click Ok.

If you press S you will see that the Shortcut key automatically Change to Ctrl + Alt + S. It means you must press Ctrl + Alt with your selected key.

You can set Number from numerical keypad. If you set a number from your keyboard’s numerical key pad, you need not press Ctrl + Alt. It means you can run your program quickly by pressing only number from numerical keypad, if you set it before and your NumLock is on.

How to change Pen Drive / Hard Disk / Folder Background, Show your picture as folder background

We always want to customize our PC. So, now I’m going to tell you how you can change Pen Drive / Hard Disk / Folder Background. Just follow some steps.

Open Notepad (Start Button > All Programs > Accessories > Notepad).

Now type(you can also copy from here)-

ICONAREA_IMAGE=nur.jpg

ICONAREA_TEXT=255

[2^nd line indicates your picture and 3^rd line indicates label colour. 255=Red you can delete 3^rd line for black label.]

Now click File > Save as.

File Name: desktop.ini

Save as type: All Files

Encoding: Ansi

Choose where you want to save the file.

Then click Save button.

Then you need an image file (e.g. jpeg, jpg, bitmap etc), rename the image (name- nur.jpg).

Now copy the two files in your Pen Drive / Hard Disk / Folder.

Press F5 or refresh screen.

Now your Pen Drive / Hard Disk background is changed.

If your folder background doesn’t change, restart your pc or change folder icon, then you can change again default icon later.

To: Type receiver’s mobile no. Remember that when you select your country you need not type country code in To field (example +880 will automatically written in to field, you need to type others such as 18000000__)

How to take Screenshot, Screenshot, Capture Screen

Sometimes we need to Capture Desktop State. If we want to submit PC Problem to any website for solution, sometimes we need to take some Screenshot. Now I’m going to tell you how to take Screenshot. You need to follow these steps-

1. Press Print Screen / SysRq button from keyboard to take Screenshot.

2. Your Desktop State / Screen Image will copy into clipboard.

3. Now Paste it into a .doc / image file / any other document.

4. Save the document.

5. Finish.

Example:

i. Press Print Screen / SysRq button from keyboard to take Screenshot.

ii. Click Start Button > All Programs > Accessories > Paint.

iii. Press Ctrl + V

iv. Save.

v. Finish.

Change PC Owner, How to change PC Owner Name

We always try to change or custom our PC settings. Sometimes we want change our pc owner name. Now I’m going to tell you, how you can change your PC Owner. Just follow these-

1. Click Start button > Click Run.

Or, Press Windows key + R

2. Type regedit

3. Click Ok

4. Go HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version

5. Now from right side double click on RegisteredOwner

6. Now you can change your PC Owner name.

7. After changing Click Ok > Exit the program

8. Finish.

You can do the same thing in another easy way-

1. Click Start button > Click Run.

Or, Press Windows key + R

2. Type regedit

3. Click Ok

4. Press Ctrl + F

or Click Edit > Find

5. Type RegisteredOwner > Click Find Next button

6. Now from right side double click on RegisteredOwner (it will be selected automatically)

7. Now you can change your PC Owner name.

8. After changing Click Ok > Exit the program

9. Finish.

How to show PC System information, DirectX Diagnostic Tool, System Properties

It’s very easy to show PC System Information. If we want to know about our PC Information or System Information, we need to follow some steps. Now I’m going to tell you, how you can do this.

Step 1: Full Information

1. Click Start button > Click Run.

Or, Press Windows key + R

2. Type dxdiag

3. Click Ok and wait few seconds to load properly.

4. Now you can view your PC System Information. (See example image, bellow)

 

5. Click Ok.

Step 2: Information Summary

1. Open My Computer or Press Windows Key + E

2. Right click on a blank space of the window.

3. Click Properties

4. Now view your PC’s System information.

5. OK

PC Booting Slow? Quick Boot, Startup Program Configuration, Stop Startup Program

Sometimes our PC takes more time to boot then ever. There are many reasons behind this problem. One is, increasing the Startup programs number. So you need to stop your unnecessary Startup programs. So, you need to follow my tips-

1. Click Start button > Click Run.

Or, Press Windows key + R

2. Type msconfig

3. Click Startup Tab

4. Uncheck Unnecessary Programs

5. Click Apply button

6. Click OK

7. Now Restart Your PC

Change Pen Drive Icon

We always like to customize our PC. Pen Drive is an external hardware. Now I’m going to tell you how you can change your Pen Drive Icon.

Step 1: Open Notepad and write the following text-

[autorun]

ICON=AUTORUN.ICO

Save it as autorun.inf file.

Step 2: Open an image in Paint (Click Start Button > Programs > Accessories > Paint). Image resolution must be 100*100 or bellow. Then save it as AUTORUN.ico file.

Step 3: Finish. Now paste these two files in to your Pen Drive (Open Pen Drive and paste).

Now remove your Pen Drive and Plug in again. You will see that your Pen Drive’s icon becomes change.

Noted That: Some Antivirus show autorun.inf as a virus. But your autorun.inf file contains no virus.
